Sergio Flores, CEO & Storyteller

Sergio Flores is a storyteller from East Palo Alto, California. In the heart of silicon valley Sergio started creating videos when he was 13 years old. The main reason he started DFFRNT was seeing the unjust ways outsiders would tell the stories of his city and still are telling the stories of East Palo Alto, he decided to share the real stories from his day to day life and document his city in the most authentic way. Since then he has worked with companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Adidas. Non-profits like StreetCode Academy, Ravenswood Education Foundation, Yuca. Artists like Mary J Blige, Rexx Life Raj, Jidena. Speaking across the country empowering the youth, helping raise over 10 million dollars and helping sell out arenas with visual marketing and branding. This next chapter is about empowering more bipoc through our skills and network.

Jessica Quetzali, Chief people officer

Jessica Sanchez is a bilingual business strategist, she provides strategic programmatic support, and supports organizations design visionary and compelling programs.  she successfully launched (4) contact centers in collaboration with the CA Department of Social Services which led to a ($100MM+revenue increase). Jessica holds invaluable skills in program design, business scaling, and piloting projects alongside multi-level government, non-profit and state agencies. Fueled by her passion for promoting a more equitable future for all, she is committed to supporting individuals with brand development, and in creating a community of care. She is experienced in collaborating with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders, from rural indigenous women's groups, grassroots, Tribal communities, government, private and state agencies. She holds a bachelor’s in humanities and communications and a master’s degree in educational counseling.
